Loftis Furniture is a family-owned business that has been providing quality furniture for generations. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction sets us apart in the furniture retail industry.
Looking back, it’s hard to know whether my grandfather, RB Loftis, fully realized what he was beginning when he opened his furniture store in 1916. What started as a small business would grow into a lasting family legacy that continues today under the name Loftis Furniture. It’s impossible to know if he imagined that his son, Bob Loftis — and later his granddaughter and great-grandson — would carry on the same tradition of helping families furnish their homes for generations.
More than a century later, the Loftis name remains a part of the communities it serves. Few businesses can say they have spent over 100 years helping customers create comfortable, welcoming homes. It’s a legacy that RB and Bob would surely be proud of, as their family continues to move the business forward while keeping it firmly rooted in family values.
The first store opened in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where RB Loftis lived most of his life. His son, Bob Loftis, later expanded the business, opening additional locations in McAlester and Muskogee, and eventually adding stores in Bartlesville and Grove. When Bob passed away in 2019, the family continued the tradition. His daughter sold the Grove location and opened a new store in Seminole, while also continuing to operate the McAlester location.
Today, both family-owned stores remain a true labor of love for the Davis family. On any given day, you’ll likely find members of the family working in one of the stores, continuing the tradition of personal service and commitment that began more than a century ago.
